Description
Reusable Sandwich Square Tips from Annette Nails are a modern working system for making gel or polygel extensions, appreciated for speed, precision and better control over the construction. The sandwich tip system includes two types of complementary tips: a subungual tip, to support the extension and a superior tip, to perform the construction. Sandwich tips are designed to simplify the working process in obtaining a clean, uniform and resistant architecture.
Square tips are versatile and allow for both square and oval architectures, being suitable for both short and longer nails. The tips have a discreet apex, which contributes to a more resistant construction while maintaining a natural appearance of the nail. They are a practical choice for technicians who want control in their work, strength and flexibility in creating different manicure styles.
The sandwich technique is increasingly preferred by nail technicians because it allows for more efficient material distribution and easier extension creation, with increased stability in the stress zone. This system can shorten working time, support correct apex creation and reduce the filing step, making it ideal for quick salon work with a clean look and precise finish.
Reusable sandwich tips can be used in gel, polygel or acrylic builds. They are a practical choice for technicians who want fast builds, an easier technique, fewer touch-ups and a more efficient workflow.
Advantages of using the sandwich technique:
More control in the free area of the nail;
No material pushed under the nail;
No subungual filing;
The subungual part supports the extension and holds the material in the correct area;
The top helps to shape the construction and even out the material;
The apex and sides are more easily outlined;
Fewer corrections, reduced working time;
Easy to use even for novice technicians.

How to use:
The natural nail is prepared and the necessary preparation products are applied - dehydrator, primer and base.
Choose the right size of the tips so that they fit properly on the nail, without being too small or forcing the sides.
The subungual element is fixed with a base and polymerized.
In full cover tips, the material (gel, polygel) is leveled, and then positioned, with controlled pressure, over the prepared nail and the subungual tip.
It is polymerized, after which the tips are removed.
The construction is finished, where necessary, then the color, design or finish stage is continued.
Tips & tricks for the sandwich technique
The size of the tip must be chosen so that it correctly covers the natural nail from side to side.
Too much material can lead to excess and additional corrections after polymerization.
Too little material can affect the strength of the construction in the stress area.
For a cleaner result, the material should be distributed evenly before applying the tip to the nail.
Initial fixation helps to maintain the correct position before complete polymerization. This can be achieved with the help of a mini UV lamp .
Reusable tips should be properly cleaned after each use to prepare them for the next application.
